Tuesday 22nd November
Rehearsal at English Martyrs' Church, Manor Crescent. Please do come along at 7pm if you can to help move chairs.
Don't forget to bring along any donations for our craft stall on Sunday 27th - see note below, including chocolate items.
Thursday 24th November 7.30pm
Didcot Christmas Fair. Please do come along if you can to sing the Hallelujah Chorus and perhaps another Chorus from Messiah - should be a fun occasion! I think the main stage will be near to Cornerstone - please meet there at 7.20.
Saturday 26th November
Afternoon Rehearsal
please come along ready to sing at 12.50. The rehearsal will run no longer then 3pm, ideally before.
Last chance to bring items for the craft/gift stall! see below.
Dress code - all black for men and women.
Evening Performance
will commence at 8pm. Please don't arrive before 7.30pm to avoid congestion and advise your guests to do the same. Remember a cushion may be in order for the pews!
Wine will be served in the interval.
Sunday 27th November
Hagbourne School Craft Fair. 11-3.30pm. Please do remember to bring items for sale - crafty things, cakes/sweets in gift wrappings, hand made items (cards. paintings, etc), recycled gift items, jams, chutneys, etc. Anything else you think will sell well! We will also be running a chocolate tombola - please bring along any donations to the rehearsal on Tuesday or Saturday. I think we have enough helpers for Sunday but please do come along to the craft fair if you can - it is a lovely sale. We will be in the village hall.
Tuesday 29th November and Tuesday 6th December
Rehearsals as usual for the Carol Concert. Please remember to bring along the Green Carols for Choirs book. New copies can be ordered through the Amazon link on the website.
Wednesday 7th December
Didcot Town Carol Concert starts 7.15 in the revamped Civic Hall. Festive Dress!
Monday 12th December - 6.50pm for 15 minutes.
Didcot Girls' School - Singing on the Green outside Cockcroft Building - use Manor Crescent entrance.
Tuesday 13th December
DCS Christmas Meal at The Bear at Moreton. Please speak to Katrin if you have not yet put your name down for this event.
Saturday 24th December - 9.30am
We have been invited to sing outside Calnan's butchers in Didcot again in return for bacon sandwiches and festive joy... all welcome.
